A Brief History of Cooperation Part 1
In September 2024, I did a talk for the welcome day for the Masters students at IMT Nord Europe at the Hippodrome in Douai. I liked the talk and was proud, but watching it back I had a strong feeling of longing for the slides to have changed smoothly with my remote control, and for all my intercultural knowledge and experience I guess I ought to have anticipated that the mostly French speaking students wouldn't laugh so much at my dry jokes. Oh well.
So I decided to record a new version of the same talk while I was out and about over the next few days. I think I needed to convince myself that I could do better. The above video is what I made and I was so happy with it that I didn't really need to do the whole talk. I like it as a tight, one-minute extract!
